Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with the Jaywalkers at Veteran's Hall in Santa Rosa, CA from 6/17-18/1966. (*AOR mistakenly lists the location as San Jose)

 Art by Wes Wilson, image (handbill) is featured in the Art of Rock on page 232 (plate 2.338).

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster has been professionally restored to excellent (B+) condition; a couple of small edge tears (top/bottom center margin) and a 2" diagonal split in the lower right margin have been sealed, and there are with a couple of thin stress/handling creases hiding within the image area and a thin strip of mounting tape residue along the top edge of the reverse side, otherwise it is a fine-looking example of this always-popular 1966 Wes Wilson-designed Grateful Dead concert poster from an early out-of-town gig.
