Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 17&5/8" concert/event poster for a "Psychedelic Fashion Show", sponsored by Mill Valley mod boutique The Mod Hatter, featuring performances by Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, the Only Alternative and His Other Possibilities and Mimi Farina and held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 8/17/1966.
 
 Artist unknown, image is not a numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore image (this show falls between the BG #23 and BG #24 shows), but it is featured in the Art of Rock on page 155 (plate 2.84) and likely had some BGP involvement.
 
 Thick flat vellum "construction paper" stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are small clusters of staple holes in all four corners, in the lower right margin and in the bottom center margin (a couple of them are a little rusty), along with minor creasing/wear in all four corners (more in the upper corners), a bit of light handling wear, a thin diagonal surface scratch going through the "c" of "co" (just above the "o" of "Fashion"), a few light surface dings/indentations,razor-thin stress bends and a stray scuff or two hiding within the image area and a 1" thin diagonal bend in the lower right margin/corner tip, otherwise fine.
 
 Very decent-looking example of a somewhat scarce early non-numbered Fillmore poster with a REALLY interesting back story (involving Owsley Stanley, the Grateful Dead and a new P.A. system for the Fillmore)- read about it HERE:
