Description

Original 1st printing 14 x 21&1/2" cardboard boxing-style concert poster for Lowell Fulson (and his Orchestra) appearing with Lloyd Glenn at the Sunset Terrace Ballroom in Indianapolis, IN on 6/1/1959.

Designer unknown/not credited, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 34 (plate 1.28).

Thick flat cardboard stock letterpress poster is in decent/used (B/B-) condition; the board is evenly toned with a few soft pin-prick splatter spots/moisture droplets, light scuffs/scratches and thin scrapes here and there, rounded/worn corner tips (all four corners) with a bit of additional stress creasing along the lower left margin, a 1&1/2" horizontal tear in the right center margin (sealed on the reverse with clear tape), a couple of well-camouflaged stress bends (mostly visible on the reverse side), clear tape remnants and a decent-sized tape pull on the reverse side... definitely a survivor, but still in pretty decent shape for a 65(!)-year-old poster.

First one of these I have had pass through... not one of the more common AOR posters, that's for sure.
