Description

 Original 1st printing 22&1/2 x 16&5/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with New Riders of the Purple Sage at the Sacramento (CA) Memorial Auditorium on 12/22/1970.

 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Roger Shepherd, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 366 (plate 4.101)

 Medium flat index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a couple of tiny white spots scattered along the upper margin area, along with a few fairly well-camouflaged soft handling/stress creases hiding within the image area, otherwise it is a mostly-clean ARTIST-SIGNED example of this always-in-demand late 1970 Grateful Dead concert artifact from Sacramento.
