Description

 Original 1st printing 15 x 20" concert poster for the New Riders of the Purple Sage appearing with Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen at the Fort Wayne (IN) Coliseum on 5/8/1974.
 
 Design by Ozone (Chris Frayne), a nearly-identical image from the previous night (with Leon Russell as an additional headliner and a red/yellow truck) is pictured in the Art of Rock on page 397 (plate 4.197).

 Medium-thin flat vellum stock poster is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; just a trace of handling wear (a few soft pinch dings mostly scattered around the outer margin area) and a tiny edge ding or two, otherwise it is a VERY sharp/crisp example if this whimsical mid-'70's Ozone poster from the Midwest.
