Description

Original 1st printing 20 x 26&1/8" hand-pulled silkscreen benefit concert poster for "Artist Rights Today" (or "A.R.T."), a show held at the Gift Center in San Francisco, CA on 3/22/1989 featuring Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead), John Kahn, John Cipollina (Quicksilver Messenger Service), Barry Melton and Country Joe McDonald (Country Joe & the Fish), Nick Gravenites (Electric Flag), Pete Sears, Roy Blumenfeld (Blues Project), Merl Saunders, Peter Albin (Big Brother), Spencer Dryden (Jefferson Airplane/NRPS) and more.

Art by Rick Griffin, Victor Moscoso*, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley* and Wes Wilson*, this one is numbered B 35 -200 and is the fourth and final poster in this series. *SIGNED in pencil

Thick oak-tag vellum stock silkscreen poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a little bit of light smudging around the signatures, along with a VERY slight curl to the paper and a few soft surface scratches in the blue pass of ink, otherwise it is a mostly-clean example of this very pretty late-1980's all-star benefit silkscreen featuring THREE artist's signatures.
