Original 1st printing 5&3/4 x 15&3/8" (appx.- edges are hand-trimmed) newsprint advertisement ("New Musical Express" 3/7/1981) promoting the release of "You Better You Bet", the first single from the Who's 1981 "Face Dances" album.

 Designer unknown/not credited, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 420 (plate 4.284).

 Thin newsprint stock advertisement is in excellent (B+) condition; aside from the fact that the item has been cut from a newspaper (very cleanly), there are a series of tiny pin-prick holes along the left margin (from the printing press) and a touch of mild paper toning, but it pretty much looks exactly like the one in the AOR (with the exception of the NME line across the top of the one in the book).

If you are looking for unusual AOR images (and seeing as this piece ONLY exists in this format) this is the way to go if you are after this one. Maybe CGC will slab it, I don't know.
