Original 1st printing 19 x 26" silkscreen concert/event poster for the (Fourth Annual) Big Sur Folk Festival, held at Esalen Hot Springs in Big Sur, CA on 6/28-29/1967.

 Art by J. Myrick, poster lists festival participants: Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Mimi Fariña, Mark Spolestra and the Jade Muse, Malvina Reynolds, Al Kooper (Blues Project/Bob Dylan/BS&T) and the Chambers Brothers.

 Medium-thick flat index stock hand-pulled silkscreen poster is in near mint (A-) condition; aside from a slight curl to the paper and a couple of minuscule edge dings, this is without a doubt the CLEANEST example of this poster that I have ever seen... it almost looks like it was just printed yesterday.

 A REMARKABLY well-preserved example of this fantastic-looking event poster from the 1967 edition of the annual folk music get-together, printed with ultra-bright florescent ink and featuring a great period design. Read more about Esalen HERE:
