Original 1st printing 17&1/8 x 22&3/8" concert poster for the October 1968 schedule of shows held at the Matrix in San Francisco, CA. Shows listed include: Elvin Bishop from 10/8-12, Jerry Garcia (GARRCEEAH) and Friends (A/K/A "Mickey & the Hartbeats") from 10/8-10, "Marvel" (Marble) Farm from 10/11-12, Harvey Mandel and Mad River from 10/15-17, Allmen Joy from 10/18-19, Mint Tattoo from 10/22-24, Steve Miller from 10/22-16 and Linn County from 10/25-27. 

 Art by George Chacona and Marty Rice, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 166 (plate 2.118).

 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in good (B) condition; the right margin has a trio of small edge tears with an approximately 11" long thin vertical crease running along the right margin (on the right border of the artwork), along with a 2" diagonal bend in the lower right corner, a 1/2" tear in the lower left margin, a slightly rounded top left corner tip, a bit of minor edge/corner-tip creasing, a few light pin-prick age spots and light soft stains scattered along the top/right margins, a bit of light handling wear, mild paper toning and a light scuff mark on the reverse side, otherwise OK.
