Original 1st printing 12&3/4 x 17" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with Shades of Joy, the Gestalt Fool Theatre Family, New Generation Singers and American Indian Dancers appearing in a benefit for ASR Waves People's Radio, held at the Fillmore West (advertised as Carousel Ballroom) in San Francisco, CA on 3/3/1971. *poster erroneously lists the year as 1970
Art by Miranda Bergman, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 182 (plate 2.171).
Medium flat index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; just a small 1/2" vertical tear and a tiny pin hole in the upper right margin, a pair of tiny staple holes in the upper right margin, a small v-shaped wedge tear (no paper loss) in the lower left margin and a few fairly soft handling dings hiding within the image area, otherwise it is an absolutely GORGEOUS example of this always-in-demand 1971 Grateful Dead concert poster from the AOR- one of the nicest-looking specimens I have seen in quite a while.
