Original 1st printing 14&1/4 (appx.- the right side is irregularly cut on every one of these due to the artwork being off-kilter) x 20&1/2" concert poster for the Canned Heat (Blues Band) appearing with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 6/8-11/1967.

 Medium flat index stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there are numerous scattered pin/staple holes in all four corner tips, around the outer margins and a few hiding within the image area, along with a pronounced 4" diagonal crease/bend along the lower left margin, a small wedge pull just to the right of "Co.", a bit of creasing in the upper left/right corner tips, a light amount of handling wear and a mild to moderate amount of toning, otherwise it is a very presentable-looking "vintage" example of this somewhat controversial Rick Griffin image from the Avalon.
