Original 1st printing 5 x 7" blank-reverse concert handbill for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Grateful Dead at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 3/15-17/1968.

 Art by Alton Kelley, image ("Sore Thumb") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 182 (plate 2.172).

 Medium flat index stock handbill is in near mint to excellent (A-/B+ to B+) condition; really nothing more than a tiny pin-prick spot or two lurking within the image area, a few ultra-soft handling dings here and there, a minuscule bend in the lower left margin/corner and a nearly-invisible moisture droplet in the upper left corner, otherwise it is a mostly-clean example of this oft-requested Dead/Airplane/Kelley/AOR image.
