Original 1st printing 4 x 6&7/8" blank-reverse concert handbill for the 1/24-3/8/1969 schedule of shows held at the Kinetic Playground (Electric Theater) in Chicago, IL;
Acts listed include: the Buddy Rich Orchestra with Buddy Miles and Rotary Connection (3/24-25) Grateful Dead and the Grass Roots (1/31-2/1), Vanilla Fudge, Led Zeppelin and Jethro Tull (2/7-8), Tim Hardin, Spirit and the Move (2/14-15), Jeff Beck, Savoy Brown and Mother Earth (2/21, Savoy Brown and Mother Earth only on 2/22), Paul Butterfield and B.B. King (2/28), Paul Butterfield (again) with the Bob Seger System (3/1) and John Mayall with Richie Havens (3/7-8)
Art by Mark Twain Behrens, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 296 (plate 3.128)
Medium-thin flat index card stock handbill is in near mint to excellent (A- to A-/B+) condition; really nothing more than a couple of ULTRA-tiny pin-prick ink scuffs along the top left margin and in the upper right corner and a nearly-invisible handling ding/fingerprint smudge or two lurking within the image area, otherwise it is an absolutely GORGEOUS example of this VERY hard-to-find Kinetic Playground schedule with an INCREDIBLE lineup.
First one of these I have ever seen!
