Original 1st printing 5&5/8 x 8&3/8" mailed concert handbill for the 4/12-5/17/1969 schedule of shows held at the Kinetic PLayground (Electric Theater) in Chicago, IL;

Acts listed include: Ten Years After with Junior Wells and Buddy Guy (4/11-13), the Everly Brothers, Cannonball Adderly, the Flock and Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation (4/18-20), Grateful Dead, Velvet Underground and SRC (4/25-27), Canned Heat, Albert King and Aum (5/2-4), Spirit, Muddy Waters and Big Mama Thornton (5/9-11) and Buffy St. Marie with the Buddy Rich Orchestra and Colwell-Winfield Blues Band (5/16-17).

Art by Mark Twain Behrens, medium-thin flat index card stock handbill is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are small tape pulls in the top/bottom center margins, along with a 1&1/2" diagonal bend in the lower left corner, a mild amount of edge toning, a couple of tiny edge dings and a well-camouflaged soft handling ding/pin-prick spot or two hiding within the image area (and a couple on the reverse side), otherwise OK.

INCREDIBLY SCARCE 1969 Grateful Dead/Velvet Underground concert artifact from the Windy City, first one of these I have ever seen. Check out the Dead's 4/26 show HERE:
