Original 1st printing (1st state edition, original lineup version) 25&1/8 x 18&1/8" (restored and linen-backed to 29 x 22" overall size) concert/event poster for the Texas International Pop Festival, held at Dallas International Speedway in Lewisville, TX from 8/30-9/1/1969.
Poster lists appearances by: B.B. King, Canned Heat, Chicago Transit Authority, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young *cancelled), Delaney & Bonnie and Friends, Freddie King, Herbie Mann, Incredible String Band, Led Zeppelin, Nazz, Janis Joplin, Rotary Connection, Sam & Dave, Santana, Sly & the Family Stone, Spirit, Ten Years After and Tony Joe White.
Art by Lance Bragg, medium- flat vellum stock poster has been restored to very good (B/B+) condition; in addition to the linen-backing, there is an area of mild toning/discoloration (matte burn) around the outer margin area, and upon close inspection there are several areas of surface touch-up, flattened creases and pin-hole/tear repair around the outer margin area, but the central image area looks pretty sharp/untouched.
As an added bonus, an original "Rolling Stone" newsprint ad (also linen-backed to 9 x 20&3/8") will be included with the poster.
INCREDIBLE lineup on this one, check out over an hour of footage (a "Woodstock"-style documentary) from the event HERE:
