Description
Original 1st printing 18&5/8" diameter round silkscreen concert poster for the New Age ("1st L.A. Appearance") appearing with Canned Heat and the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band at Ciro's (sponsored/promoted by the Kaleidoscope) in Los Angeles, CA from 5/12-13/1967.

Design by John Douglas Cline, image is # 3 in the Kaleidoscope series. This is the BLUE/GREEN ink version (there is also a red-ink version)

Medium-thick flat index stock silkscreen poster (printed with day-glo florescent ink) is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are staple holes (at about 2:00, 5:00, 9:00 and 11:00) scattered around the outer margin area, along with a few minor edge bends/light creases, a few stray pin-prick surface scuffs/spots here and there, a tiny splatter stain at about 3:00 and a well-camouflaged handling ding or two hiding within the image area, otherwise it is a SUPERB-looking example of this ultra-bright original 1967 Kaleidoscope poster, one of the earliest (and hardest-to-find)  images in the series.

Check out a great (and informative) list of shows (including this one) promoted by the Kaleidoscope:
