Original 1st printing 27&7/8 x 19&3/4" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with Blue Cheer and Eighth Penny Matter at the Family Dog at 1601 West Evans in Denver, CO on 9/8-9/1967.

 Art by Rick Griffin, image is # 79/D-1 in the Family Dog/Denver series. This is the large format (OP-2 in the Eric King Guide) version.

 Medium flat index stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there is a moderate amount of edge creasing along the top/bottom margins, along with a single tack hole and a couple of tiny nip tears along the bottom left margin, another tiny nip tear in the top center margin, a series of fairly well-camouflaged stress/handling creases hiding within the image area and a few stray edge dings lurking around the outer margin area, otherwise it is a very presentable example of the extra-large FD 79/D-1 poster.
