Description

Original 1st printing 20&1/4 x 25&3/4" concert poster for a benefit show (*for Biafra) featuring the Sons of Champlin, Terry Dolan, the Outlaws (Dino Valenti & Gary Duncan), Sanpaku, It's A Beautiful Day and Ace of Cups appearing at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, CA from on 9/24/1969.

Art by Eduardo Arderi, image is not part of the numbered Bill Graham/Fillmore series (it falls during the week between the BG 192 and BG 193 shows), but does mention Bill's name along the top.

Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there is a 1" tear (sealed on the reverse side with clear tape) and small surface pull in the left center margin, with a couple of thin bends extending up the left margin towards the top left corner, along with a few light handling creases here and there, a hint of light surface dirt, a few soft bends scattered around the outer margin area, a few stray tiny pin-prick age spots/light scuffs here and there... definitely a bit worn, but not too bad looking.

MEGA-OBSCURE late-1969 Fillmore West benefit poster, one of only a few that mention Bill Graham specifically by name.
