Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 20&7/8" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Santana, It's A Beautiful Day and Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks in a legal-aid benefit for the Grateful Dead (to assist the band's legal costs from their infamous January 1970 bust in New Orleans), held at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 2/23/1970.
Art by Randy Tuten, image is # 222 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there is a small 1" diagonal bend along the top left margin, along with a small pinch crease along the upper left margin, a few well-camouflaged handling dings hiding within the image area, a couple of tiny pin-prick spots along the top right margin, a tiny nick in the lower right margin and a set of light tape residue marks (and a tiny surface pull) on the reverse side, otherwise fine.
Absolutely FANTASTIC example of one of the more difficult-to-find images in the BG numbered series.
