Original 1st printing 13&3/4 x 20&7/8" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Santana, It's A Beautiful Day and Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks in a legal-aid benefit for the Grateful Dead (to assist the band's legal costs from their infamous January 1970 bust in New Orleans), held at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 2/23/1970.
Art by Randy Tuten, image is # 222 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series, this is the MONOCHROME variant/edition.
Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are tack holes (all four corners), along with a small spot/stain on "Redwood" in the ticket outlet strip, a bit of minor crinkle creasing along the extreme right margin, a few stray soft scuffs/pin-prick spots and well-camouflaged handling dings here and there and a bit of light toning/age spotting along the upper right margin, otherwise it is an overall SUPERB example of this uncommon BG variant.
