Original 1st printing 18&3/8 x 14&1/2" 1971 promotional poster for "Grateful Dead Month", a month-long sale of all G.D. records and tapes at Tower Records.
Art by Frank Carson, image is the sixth in a series of monthly promotional posters released by Sacramento-based Tower Records, each highlighting a different act; others in the series include Jefferson Airplane, the Moody Blues and Ten Years After.
Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in near mint (A-) condition; just the slightest whisper of surface wear (a few light scratches/fingerprint smudges here and there), otherwise it is a nice crisp/clean example of this whimsical early-'70's Grateful Dead poster from the fondly-remembered Northern California-based record store chain.
