Description
Original 1st printing 18&1/2" diameter round concert poster for Moby Grape appearing with the Hourglass (featuring Duane and Gregg Allman) and Mt. Rushmore at the Kaleidoscope in Los Angeles, CA from 5/17-18/1968.
 
 Art by Mortimer, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 280 (plate 3.78) and is # 10 in the Kaleidoscope series.
 
 Medium-thick flat index stock poster is in used (B- to B-/C+) condition; as the photo shows, this example is extensively faded/toned, in addition to a series of staple holes, tiny creases and a couple of small tears scattered around the outer edges, a bit of moisture warping, a few stress creases/thin bends, small splatter stains and light scuffs scattered all around the image area... definitely a well-worn specimen.
