Original 1st printing 13 x 22" concert poster for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Grateful Dead and Fleetwood Mac (with Jeremy Spencer and Peter Green) at the Carousel Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 6/7-9/1968. (*apparently the bands were supposed to appear on separate nights- the Airplane on Friday, the Dead on Saturday and Fleetwood Mac on Sunday, but the shows were cancelled when the landlord sued Headstone Productions)

 Art by Patrick Lofthouse, image ("Medals") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 182 (plate 2.172).

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are tack holes in the upper left/right corners, along with a light stain/smudge in the top center margin, a few well-camouflaged handling dings/thin surface scratches/tiny scuff marks here and there, a touch of light surface dirt, a couple of soft pinch dings scattered around the outer margins and a set of nearly-invisible tape pulls/shadows on the reverse, otherwise fine. An overall superb-looking example of this mid-1968 Carousel poster featuring a trio of top-notch headliners.
