Original 1st printing 6 x 9" MAILED marquee/schedule handbill (with postcard backing) for shows held at Bill Graham's Fillmore East in New York City from 1/8-2/27/1971;
Acts listed include: Buddy Miles with Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Nick Gravenites) and Sweetwater (1/8-9), Electric Hot Tuna with Taj Mahal and Brethren (1/15-16), Dave Mason & Cass Elliot with Odetta and Livingston Taylor (1/22-23), James Taylor (1/25), Spirit with Bloodrock (1/29-30), Steppenwolf with the Spencer Davis Group and Luther Allison (2/5-6), the Small Faces (featuring Rod Stewart and Ron Wood) with the Grease Band and Savoy Brown (2/16-17), Black Sabbath (2/19-20), and Fleetwood Mac (2/26-27).
Design by Jerry Pompili/Wilson-Frissora, image is an un-numbered part of the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series;
Medium flat vellum card stock mailer (with original mailing label attached) is in good (B) condition; there is a pronounced horizontal center crease, along with tack holes in the top/bottom center margins, a few tiny hairline diagonal creases/bends in the lower left/right margins/corners, a small printing hickey just beneath "Bloodrock", a light amount of surface dirt and a couple of small ballpoint-pen scratches on the reverse side, otherwise fine.
VERY eclectic/wide-ranging lineup on this one!
