Original 1st printing 22&1/8 x 28" tour-blank format concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing poster for a proposed Warner Brothers-sponsored series of (canceled) free concerts to be held over the summer of 1970, featuring the Grateful Dead, along with Crazy Horse (without Neil Young) and Sal Valentino.
Art by Greg Irons, medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in good (B) condition; the upper right margin is a little chewed up (creases, a small worn/tattered nip tear, a tiny wedge tear and a few thin bends), along with a 1" diagonal bend in the lower right corner, a couple of thin vertical stress creases scattered along the upper margin area, a dime-sized soft stain at about 8:00 on the oval, a series of thin stress bends, light handling creases and soft pin-prick age spots hiding within the image area, a few tiny creases along the left margin, a slight curl to the paper and a bit of uneven toning with a few old fossilized tape marks on the reverse side, otherwise OK.
Since the tour was canceled/re-organized (it actually sort-of morphed into the 1970 "Medicine Ball Caravan" tour, with several different participants), it is my understanding that most of these posters were remaindered and never made it out of the print shop (Tea Lautrec). A VERY uncommon and INTENSE-looking Grateful Dead poster.
