Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 10&7/8" (*left/right margins trimmed down approximately by 5/8") concert flyer for the Grateful Dead appearing with Oxford Circle at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 9/16-17/1966.
Art by Alton Kelley and Stanley Mouse (with Edmund Sullivan), image ("Skeleton & Roses") is # 26 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Thin flat stock flyer is in good/decent (B/B-) condition; aside from the left/right edges being trimmed down, there isn't really too much else going on with this one- maybe a couple of tiny edge dings here and there, but still mostly clean.
If you can get past the edge trimming, it is still a very presentable original 1st printing example of this iconic early Grateful Dead concert image from the Avalon. Considering what some of the posters have been going for lately, this is a pretty decent reasonably-priced alternative.
