Description
Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for early rock & roll pioneer Bo Diddley appearing with Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 7/28-30/1966.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, image is # 18 in the Family Dog/Avalon series. (OHB-A in the Eric King guide)
Thin flat stock flyer is in near mint (A-) condition; aside from a tiny pin-prick spot on the reverse side and a slightly sliced bottom line of type from the piece being printed slightly off-register (a common trait with part of the run), it is in essentially flawless shape... a GORGEOUS specimen.
