Original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" concert flyer for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA on 9/9-10/1966.
Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley with a photo by Edward S. Curtis, image ("Bull Bear") is # 25 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Thin flat stock flyer is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a mild amount of paper toning (slightly unevenly toned along the bottom margin), along with a few soft handling creases and tiny pin-prick age spots scattered around the image area (and on the reverse side), a tiny scuff/indentation on the "p" of "Sept." and a pair of light tape pulls on the reverse, otherwise fine.
Nice-looking gently-aged example of thic classic 1966 Mouse/Kelley Avalon flyer.
