Original 1st printing 4&1/4 x 8&1/4" blank-reverse concert handbillfor Jefferson Airplane, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and the Grateful Dead appearing together at Winterland (*cancelled at Winterland/shows moved to the Fillmore) in San Francisco, CA from 10/7-8/1966 (an additional show was subsequently added on Sunday the 9th).
Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 30 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.
Medium-thin flat vellum stock handbill is in mint/near mint to near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; there is a tiny inking anomaly (a small dark spot) at about 8:00 on the op-art circle, but otherwise this example is FLAWLESS.
An absolutely GORGEOUS example of this iconic late-'66 BG handbill from what would have been the Dead's first Winterland shows, had they not been moved.
