Description

Original 1st printing 4&1/4 x 8" blank-reverse concert handbill for Jefferson Airplane appearing with the Grateful Dead and Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 12/31/1966.

Art by Wes Wilson, image is # 37 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.

Medium-thin flat vellum stock handbill is in excellent (B+) condition; there are slightly rouned corner tips, plus a tiny diagonal bend in the upper left corner, a pair of thin vertical stress bends in the top/bottom margins, a tiny smudge on the "Y" of "Year", a couple of pin-prick white spots along the left/right margins and a couple of nearly-invisible soft pinch dings hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.

Sweet little original 1966 Airplane/Dead/QMS handbill from the first-ever Fillmore New Year's Eve show.
