Original 1st (early 1970's-era California Graphic Exchange commemorative) printing 13&7/8 x 22&1/8" concert poster for the Jimi Hendrix Experience (appearing with Electric Flag, Blue Cheer and the Soft Machine- not listed) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA on 2/10/1968.

  Art by (and SIGNED in white pencil by) Rick Griffin, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 277 (plate 3.68). *poster is also embossed in the lower left corner with Rick's "Heart & Torch" stamp

 Medium-thin flat vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B/B-) condition; this example was heat-mounted to a board and has been in a frame since the 1980's, so physically it is in great shape- just a couple of light surface smudges hiding within the image area, a stray edge ding or two and a slight curve to the board, otherwise it has been remarkably well-preserved... but it is mounted and should probably stay that way... it is not going to come off the board easily.

 Mounting aside, the piece does still look really sharp- and it's got a nice large Rick Griffin signature (and Rick's personal stamp), so it's a pretty good score for the right person.
