Description
Original 1st printing 14&1/8 x 19&7/8" 1966 Rag Baby Records promotional poster for the third pressing of "Section 43"/"Bass Strings"/"Thing Called Love", the first EP (extended play single) by Berkeley's own Country Joe & the Fish.
Art by Tom Weller, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 218 (plate 2.287)
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there are a couple of "mouse bite" chunks, along with a 2" dark stain, a bit of creasing and a small pull in the left margin, a small wedge out of the lower left margin, a diagonal surface pull in the lower right corner, a few light surface smudges and semi-soft handling creses here and there, a couple of thin horizontal roll bends along the left side of the image area, a small crease in the upper left corner tip and a stray pin-prick spot or two, otherwise OK... the paper on this one is actually quite bright for its age.
Neat-looking mid-1966 band management-generated Country Joe & the Fish poster from the AOR.
