Original 1st printing 16&1/2 x 22&1/8" concert poster for the Grateful Dead appearing with New Riders of the Purple Sage at Winterland in San Francisco, CA on 10/9/1972 (*road crew benefit)

 Medium-thick glossy stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; aside from a few nearly invisible handling dings/light surface scratches here and there, a couple of thin horizontal press streaks/marks, a few tiny edge creases scattered around the outer margin area and a set of tape pulls on the reverse, it is pretty much as sharp/clean as you can hope to find. 

 Despite it being a somewhat crudely-rendered piece, this is definitely one of the harder-to-find and frequently asked-for early-'70's Dead posters from Winterland- I don't think they printed a lot of these. Check out the show (featuring a guest appearance by a rather lively Grace Slick) HERE:
