Original 1st printing 20&1/8 x 26&1/8" hand-pulled silkscreen benefit concert poster for "Artist Rights Today" (or "A.R.T."), an event/party/show held at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on 3/18/1987. Acts listed include Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead), John Kahn, John Cipollina (Quicksilver Messenger Service), Sal Valentino (Beau Brummels + Stoneground), Maria Muldaur, Merle Saunders, Country Joe McDonald, Nick Gravenites (Electric Flag) and many more.
Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Rick Griffin, Victor Moscoso, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley and Wes Wilson, this one is numbered AP (Artist Proof) 180 and is the third poster in this series.
Thick oak-tag vellum stock silkscreen poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are tack holes in all four corner tips, with a small wedge/nip out of the lower right corner tip, a small smudge and "429" written in pencil in the lower left corner, a few thin edge bends along the upper right margin, a couple of nearly-invisible soft bends in the lower left/upper right margin/corners, a few stray edge smudges/dings scattered around the outer margin area and a tiny pinch ding or two hiding within the image area, otherwise fine.
FANTASTIC-looking late-'80's San Francisco benefit silkscreen poster with an UNBELIEVABLE lineup and ALL of the "Big Five" signatures!
