Original 1st printing 23&1/8 x 34&3/8" concert poster for the Who performing their rock opera "Tommy" at the Fillmore East in New York, NY from 10/20-25/1969.

 Art by David Edward Byrd, image is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 158 (plate 2.94) and is image # 10 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore East series.

 Medium-thin glossy stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are a series of ULTRA-tiny edge creases and tiny pin-prick age spots scattered around the outer margin area, along with a few stray handling dings/tiny stress creases  and a soft bend or two hiding within the image area, otherwise it is a SUPERB example of this oft-requested Who poster from the legendary October 1969 NYC "Tommy" shows.
