Original 1st printing (OP-1 in the Eric King guide, thick gray stock with the little fibrous "hairs") 14 x 20&1/4" concert poster for Los Angeles psych-rockers Love (featuring Arthur Lee) appearing with the Sons of Adam and the Charlatans at the Fillmore Auditorium (this was the final FD show held at the Fillmore) in San Francisco, CA from 4/8-9/1966.
Art by Wes Wilson, image ("Dirty Old Man") is # 4 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Thick flat fibrous vellum (smooth front) stock poster has been restored to good/very good (B to B/B+) condition; there has been quite a bit of work on this example- paper replacement (corners/margins), several sealed edge tears, flattened creases, staple/tack holes filled and a few areas of touch-up around the lettering- there are a few little minor issues remaining (a small stain beneath the girl's heel, a few thin creases and a slight moisture wave to the paper), but overall it looks pretty good.
Decent-looking restored example of this VERY early Family Dog poster (their last show at the Fillmore).
