Original 1st printing 6&5/8 x 14" concert flyer for "Bilbo's Birthday", a one-off show featuring Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with the Great Society (featuring Grace Slick) and the Charlatans at California Hall in San Francisco, CA on 7/28/1966.
 
 Art by Passalaqua, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 177 (plate 2.156). 

 Medium-thick flat vellum stock flyer is in used (B-) condition; there is a large pronounced horizontal center fold/crease, along with a series of light pin-prick splatter stains scattered around the upper portion of the image area, tape stains/marks in all four corners, a glue residue stain on "Calliope Company", a few tiny pin holes in the top/bottom margins, corner tip wear, light handling... definitely a well-traveled example.

 Conditional issues aside, still a neat little mid-1966 artifact from one of the earliest Janis Joplin-fronted Big Brother shows.
