Original 1st printing (no script "W" in the ticket strip) 13&3/4 x 20&3/4" concert poster for the Band* (Levon Helm, Rick Danko, Richard Manuel, Robbie Robertson and Garth Hudson) appearing with the Sons of Champlin and Ace of Cups at Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 4/17-19/1969 (*Bay Area debut)

 Medium glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are a series of light surface scuffs/stains, semi-soft handling creases, pin-prick spots and hairline-thin stress bends/surface scratches scattered around the image/outer margin area, along with a small diagonal crease and a couple of pin-prick spots in the lower left margin/corner, a tiny scratch/ding on "Shakespeare" in the ticket outlet area, a few stary edge/corner-tip dings and a series of soft/light scuff marks on the reverse side, otherwise fine.

 VERY nice-looking gently-used ARTIST-SIGNED 1st printing example of this iconic 1969 Band poster from their San Francisco debut.
