Pair of original 1st printing 8&1/2 x 11" (appx.- FD 27 is trimmed to 8&1/8 x 11") thin-paper concert flyers for a series of 1966 shows held at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA;

Art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley, collection consists of the following numbers; FD 22 (Grateful Dead/Sopwith Camel from 8/19-20) and FD 27 (Howlin' Wolf/Big Brother & the Holding Company from 9/23-24);

 Thin flat stock flyers are in excellent (B+, FD 22) and in used (B-/C+, FD 27) condition; the FD 27 has (aside from the aforementioned trimmed margins) a 2" tear in the bottom center margin, toning/fading, tack holes (all four corners), minor handling/edge wear and tape marks on the reverse, while the FD 22 has a set of staple holes, a small lower left corner-tip bend, a tiny nick out of the upper left margin and a few stray handling dings; 

Nice little starter set of original 1st printing early (1966) Avalon Ballroom concert artifacts for the casual collector.
