Original 1st printing 6&7/8 x 10&1/2" concert handbill for "Danse Macabre", a junior class-sponsored show featuring the
Grateful Dead appearing with Country Joe & the Fish at Pauley Ballroom on the campus of the University of California in
Berkeley, CA on 12/2/1966.
 
 Art by Ruth Garbell, extra-thin vellum stock handbill is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a tiny nip out of the top center margin, along with a few semi-thin soft diagonal/horizontal creases and a couple of tiny edge dings stretching across the upper margin area, a thin 2-3" diagonal bend going from the bottom center margin towards the left edge, a tiny diagonal pressure crease in the bottom right corner and a stray handling ding or two, otherwise it is a fine-looking example of this BIZARRE late-'66 Grateful Dead/Country Joe & the Fish concert artifact from the East Bay.
