Original 1st printing 14 x 20" untrimmed printer's proof (appx. 1/2" extra white border around the outer margins) concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with the Other Half and the (Steve) Miller Blues Band at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 1/6-7/1967.
Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Victor Moscoso, image is # 42 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
Medium flat vellum stock poster is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are tack/staple holes in all four corners, along with a small (about 1") "V"-shaped wedge tear in the upper left corner, a small 1 horizontal tear (sealed on the reverse) in the lower right/center margin, a bit of pin-prick spotting/tape residue along the upper right margin, a bit of minor edge wear along the right margin, a stray handling ding or two and a bit of spray adhesive with a couple of decent-sized paper remnants on the reverse side (poster was mounted to a piece of thin cardboard and subsequently removed), otherwise fine.
GREAT-LOOKING ARTIST-SIGNED example of this semi-uncommon early-'67 Family Dog proof.
