Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20" concert poster for Quicksilver Messenger Service appearing with the Sons of Champlin and Blackburn and Snow at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 10/28-29/1966.
 
 Art by (and SIGNED in pencil by) Victor Moscoso, image ("Chicken On A Unicycle") is # 32 in the Family Dog/Avalon series.
 
 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good to very good (B to B/B+) condition; there are a couple of decent-sized horizontal tape/sticker residue marks along the bottom margin (left/right side of the ticket outlet strip), along with a series of pin/staple holes in all four corners and in the top center margin, a few tiny hairline diagonal corner-tip/edge creases, a tiny nip tear along the upper right margin, light handling wear, a hint of toning and a quartet of tape remnants with a bit of red pen scratch ("32") on the reverse, otherwise fine.

 Nice-looking gently-worn ARTIST-SIGNED specimen of this whimsical early Family Dog poster.
