Original 1st printing 14 x 20" concert poster for the 6/28-7/2/1967 Grand Opening of the Western Front, featuring the Siegal-Schwall Blues Band, the Charlatans, Congress of Wonders and Bill Ham's Light Sound Dimension, plus (Sat. only) Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) and Quicksilver Messenger Service.
Art by Greg Irons, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 192 (plate 2.203).
Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in good/decent (B to B/B-) condition; there is a large pronounced thin diagonal crease/bend along the lower right margin, along with a 1" vertical tear in the bottom center margin (sealed on the reveres with clear tape), a few thin diagonal stress creases/bends in the lower left corner, a tiny nip tewar in the left center margin, a bit of handling wear/creasing along the top margin, a hint of edge toning/light surface dirt, a 2&1/2" diagonal bend in the upper right corner and a couple of light/thin stress bends and light handling dings hiding within the image area, otherwise OK.
Conditional issues aside, this example actually looks quite presentable.
