Original 1st printing 21&3/4 x 11" concert poster for Van Morrison appearing with Black Pearl and Saloom Sinclair & Mother Bear at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA from 1/31-2/2/1969.
 
 Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Junk Yard") is featured in the Art of Rock on page 108 (plate 2.23) and is part of the Soundproof Presents (post-Family Dog Avalon) series.
 
 Medium-thick glossy-coated index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there is a 2" hard diagonal bend in the lower left corner, along with a few thin crescent-shaped soft handling creases and a thin stress bend or two scattered around the outer margin area, a hint of light surface scuffing/scratching, a tiny nip tear and a thin crease in the upper left margin/corner and a trio of hairline-thin scratches/indentations in the upper left corner, otherwise fine.
