Original 1st printing 13&5/8 x 18&5/8" concert poster for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing with the Steve Miller (Blues) Band and Robert Baker at Steninger Auditorium on the campus of the University of California (San Francisco) Medical Center on 3/4/1967.
 
  Design by Krefting, event was a student-sponsored event billed as "Journey to the End of Night- A Benefit for Peace".
 
 Medium flat vellum stock poster is in near mint (A- to A-/B+) condition; aside from a trace of handling wear, a small pinch bend in the lower left margin and a tiny pencil scratch shadow on the reverse, it is a VERY sharp example of this great-looking 1967 Big Brother/Janis Joplin poster from a fairly small San Francisco benefit show.
