Original 1st printing 17 x 22" double-sided concert/event poster for a "Pre-Erection Day Party", a Yippie (and Black Panther) sponsored gathering held at the Berkeley Community Theatre in Berkeley, CA on 11/1/1968, featuring appearances by Phil Ochs, Jerry Rubin (Yippies), Eldridge Cleaver (Black Panthers) and the Floarting Lotus Magic Opera Company.

 Design by A. Kitt (layout by J. Baldwin), medium-thin flat index stock poster is in very good to excellent (B/B+ to B+) condition; there are a series of flattened vertical/horizontal creases/folds (as issued) with a couple of additional thin horizontal bends traversing the image area, plus a few light handling dings and hairline-thin stress creases scattered around the outer margin area (and a few hiding within the image area), a couple of tiny pin-prick surface spots in the lower right corner and a few stray inking anomalies here and there, otherwise fine. 

WILD late-'68 Yippie/Black Panther event poster, the reverse side features "Opening Salvos from a Black/White Gun", a pair of mission statements/declarations from Eldridge Cleaver (Panthers) and Stew Albert, Jerry Rubin and Abbie Hoffman (Yippies). Only in the '60's, folks...
