Description

Original 1st printing 4&1/2 x 7" postcard-backed concert handbill and set of four (4) 2&1/2 x 4&1/2" concert tickets (one for each night) for the Jimi Hendrix Experience appearing with Albert King and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers at the Fillmore Auditorium and Winterland in San Francisco, CA from 2/1-4/1968.

Art by Rick Griffin, image ("Flying Eyeball") is  # 105 in the Bill Graham/Fillmore series.

Medium-thin flat index stock postcard is in very good (B/B+) condition; there are a couple of tape shadows on the reverse side, along with a thin sliver of tape residue running along the lower left margin (hard to see unless you tilt the card), a thin horizontal crease along the bottom margin, a tiny corner-tip bend in the top left corner and a tiny pin-prick indentation above "Thurs", otherwise fine.

Tickets range from very good (Thurs/Fri) to good/decent (Sat/Sun); both the Saturday/Sunday tickets have a moderate degree of handling wear/creasing and the Thursday/Friday tickets have a few small bends and tiny surface scuffs, but overall they are in presentable shape.

AWESOME set of original Rick Griffin-designed first printing concert artifacts from this legendary set of Hendrix shows.
