Original 1st printing 14&1/4 x 20&3/4" concert/event poster, "Pow-Wow" (a Gathering of the Tribes/Human Be-In), held at the Polo Grounds in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on 1/14/1967.
 
 This version lists appearances by Lenore Kandel, Timothy Leary, Michael McClure, Allen Ginsberg, Gary Snyder, Richard Alpert, Jerry Rubin, Dick Gregory, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Robert Baker, "Buddha" and "all San Francisco rock bands" (which included Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, the Grateful Dead and more).
 
 Art by Rick Griffin, image is featured in the Art of Rock on page 197 (plate 2.215).
 
 Medium-thick flat vellum stock poster is in excellent (B+) condition; there are a few ultra-tiny pin-prick spots scattered around the lower left quadrant and bottom center margin, along with a couple of soft handling dings here and there and a tiny pressure crease or two around the outer margin area, but that's pretty much IT... a VERY sharp/crisp example of this ICONIC early-'67 SF event poster, one of the nicest I have ever laid eyes on.
