Original 1st printing 7&7/8 x 5" concert handbill for Big Brother & the Holding Company (featuring Janis Joplin) appearing at the Men's Gym on the campus of Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA on 5/10/1968. 

 Design by Donald Kay, a similar image (from a show in Davis from a week later (5/17) is featured in the Art of Rock book on page 259 (plate 3.11).

 Thin flat stock handbill is in mint/near mint to near mint (A/A- to A-) condition; an absolutely STUNNING example of this semi-uncommon Big Brother/Janis piece from mid-1968 with virtually no flaws to speak of.
