Original 1st printing 17&1/4 x 22&1/4" concert poster for the Velvet Underground (with Lou Reed) appearing with Clover and Maya at the Hippodrome in San Diego, CA from 6/14-15/1968.

 Thick flat vellum stock poster has been professionally restored to very good (B/B+) condition; there has been a fairly extensive amount of work around the outer border area, including several areas of paper replacement, sealed edge tears and there are numerous touch-ups hiding within the image area- beyond that, there remain a few thin stress bends/creases scattered throughout the poster (mostly around the edges) and there is a subtle moisture wave (poster was washed/cleaned to remove dirt)... there's definitely been a bit of work on this one, but it looks WAY better than it did when it came in.

 VERY hard-to-find mid-'68 V.U. concert poster from Southern California, this is the first one of these that I have ever had to offer up. For more on the background of the short-lived Hippodrome, here's an interesting overview;
